The Toronto Science Festival is a three-day, public celebration of science–with keynote speakers, panel discussions, live music and dance performances, film screenings, microscope and telescope sessions, a Cafe Scientifique “Brunch-with-a-Scientist” and more.
In 2013, the festival explores the theme of Life in the Universe. How did life on Earth begin? How does it evolve? How does it survive in extreme environments? Is there intelligent life beyond Earth? Exploring these questions will be U of T researchers and invited scientists who are leading experts in biology, astronomy, earth sciences, paleontology, exobiology, anthropology, oceanography, geochemistry, planetary science and more.
